Chief Instructors for Northwest Survival Skills, LLC are the instructors responsible for the oversight of an area of instruction.  The Chief Instructor is the person most knowledeable in that area, and is responsible for teaching and certifying the Master Instructors, and ensuring that Master Instructors are Subject Matter Experts (SME's)and have the proper knowledge and skill level to be considered such.
 
Master Instructors for Northwest Survival Skills, LLC are the instructors who have acheived a high level of knowledge and skill (determined by the Chief Instructor(s)) in the area(s) that they are teaching.  Master Instructors are considered SME's for their topic(s), and are responsible for teaching and certifying Instructors.
